Weekend gaming

I didn’t spend a huge amount of time gaming this weekend.
Wizard 101 and did a few quests.
Guild wars. I am very slowly making money and mats. I am not strong enough to move forward in the eye of the north area missions or locate the new mission area in prophecies. I don’t currently want to do the other campaigns on this character and don’t want to speak too much time leveling my other alts until I can finish it on my warrior. So its grind, which I sometimes am in the mood to do but not so much this week.
Lotro. Mostly just playing my minstrel (no current gaming plan) and guardian (approaching 20).
Mabinogi eu. Spent only a short time playing this. I am in a part where I am dieing a lot so its hard to know what to do next to stop that.
Littlebigplanet. Spent most of Saturday playing this game with 3 friends. Super fun on the ps3. The little toons are cute and so customizable. The puzzles are interesting and seem balanced.
Mabinogi: Letter Collection

I was playing mabinogi over the weekend and I started on getting the drops for the letter collection event. It runs until the 21st and the letters seem to drop off anything, so it should not be too hard to do.
I also saw the tip
Raccoon drops M & A letters, Foxes drops B & I letters, – Country/brown and gray rats drops as well as gray/black and white wolves drops N & O letters, White/red spiders drops G & I(Pink)
I have not used rebirth yet (though I should have 2 free rebirths now). I am not sure when I want to do so. I was going to see if I could get all the skills before doing so.
I am finding it hard to kill things that are supposed to be currently on my level so maybe I am doing something wrong. I have been trying out the bow and arrows and the sword.

Mabinogi Eu: Double XP event

Mabingogi eu has a double xp event weekend.
Date March 12th Friday – March 14th Sunday 2010
Time 20:00 PM – 22:00 pm (gmt+1)
Thats good news. I was playing this game for a while last night. Its a fun game and quite different so I enjoy jumping in and out of it for variance.
If you clear Generation 1’s mission to save goddess morrigan before March 17th you can win extra prizes.

It runs from today (february 10) to february 16.

Mabinogi eu: Pet event

It runs until the 6th of February. Hand in one green, one blue and one red gem to Mr Duncan. First 100 on each server each day get a pet.
I have started trying for a pet. I have only one green gem so far as I have not played for much since open beta. However this is reachable so I must try to play more before the event is over.

Open beta is live
Dear Mabinogians,
Thank you very much for your patience and we hereby officially announce that
all Mabinogi servers are up and running. Those who are new to the game,
create a free Nexon passport and download the game client before
you try to play Mabinogi.
Unless deleted, the adventurous souls from the closed beta test will be able to
automatically update their game clients by running the game launcher.

Mabinogi: Elf and Giant races

I was reading this thread in the forums about the giant and elf races.
Apparently the game will start in europe with only humans, and then later on the elf and giant patch will arrive.
Starting first as a human means you can later on get 1 free elf card and 1 free giant card. You can buy more in the cash store.
From the mabinogi world site:
Obtaining an Elf
A human player will be given an Assistant Elf Card, which acts like a Free Basic Card, by allying with the elven race. To do so simply:
Talk to Castanea, and you will obtain the alliance keyword (if not already). Use it on her to obtain the Assistant Elf Card.
Break any alliance with the Giant race by using the “Elf and Giant” keyword with the leader of the race.
You may break the alliance at any time and still keep the Elf card/character.
Only one Assistant Elf Card is given per account (i.e. you cannot use a 2nd human character and get another card by allying with it too).
You will not be given a second Assistant Elf Card if you delete the assistant elf.
It doesn’t matter if you already have an Assistant Giant card. You can get both races as Assistant characters, however you can only ally once per 24 hours.
You cannot rebirth as a different race, even if you have a premium rebirth card.

Mabinogi Europe has announced when open beta is due. I highly highly recommend you try this game.
