– New Event: A history event for Tomb Sweeping Day (Qingming Festival) will occur on April 5th. Talk to Pumpkin Farmer on April 5th to begin the event
– New Event: Search For the Puppy – The Traveling Monk is trying to research some mechanized puppies he’s seen recently. However, he needs your help to capture them. Talk to the monk to get a magical sensor that will point you in the general direction of the puppies. The magic of the sensor is drained after each use, so you’ll have to wait until it’s fully charged before it will locate the puppies. You’ll be rewarded with Event Tokens for completion. You can do this event once per day

There is a community event today for “National Dress Up Your Pet Day”. The day seems silly and made up, but the event should be fun.

Gift Unwrapping Event
Starting on Christmas Eve, presents will spawn around Pokari. The boxes will respawn until the end of day on Christmas. Loot the boxes for the chance to get various items. Santa filled up all the boxes with various goodies.

The Aion festival does look cool.
Hear ye! Hear ye! All of Atreia’s inhabitants are invited to join in the Solorius Festival, a monumental celebration to honor the previous year’s ascended Daevas and their service to humanity.
The Solorius Festival is not only one of the year’s most anticipated events, but also one of the oldest. Its origin dates back to before the Cataclysm. It is a festival of communion, sharing, and appreciation. Wealth and status are set aside each year as families make diligent preparations in advance to honor the ascended. Many Atreians travel to a capital city to immerse themselves in the festivities.

Lotro: Yule holiday events

There is a guide out on the yule festival from a casual stroll through mordor.
The winter clothing looks very nice. I logged in yesterday and got the holiday title. I failed repeatedly in the Glorious Beer-Fight ( i kept getting knocked out of the arena). I also collected some snow, ice and berries for the dwarves.
If you have not been playing recently you might not know the 4th major content update is out.
It went live on the 10th of December.

Aion: the Harvest Revel

Aion is going to have a Halloween event.
During the fall harvest, from time immemorial, the people of Atreia have celebrated the bounty of the land. Years ago, the joy of the annual revels was troubled by an eclipse – a peculiar and magical eclipse that brought darkness to Asmodae and Elysea. Ever since, for days during Harvest Revel, the sky goes dark and the peoples of Atreia join the hunt.
The two sides have different events.
Asmodians find soothing peace during the dark days of the Harvest Revel. They celebrate by racing after the Wild Kurthanir hunt leader during the Wild Hunt and cooking special traditional dishes.
Elyos endure the dark days because during them the dead of Elysea are restless. Undead creatures rise from the grave every few hours, pulled back into a semblance of life by the power of the eclipse. Elyos must join roving Dark Night bands to hunt and destroy the undead before they invade Elyos villages.
Its due to start on the 25th (this Saturday).

There was two community events in Free Realms recently.

Day of the Duel
I have been watching some of the videos and hearing some stories about the events. I like these sort of things even when I don’t log in the day they are on.
I was playing yesterday and lots of folks where still dueling. Mostly shouting and advertising on the channels for more people to duel. So many people have ninja maxed out and lovely full ninja sets. There was a lot of people in santuary too, some ninjas standing around in some very nice level 20 sets. Those sets take some time to collect from doing the level 3 fights, so their hard work is impressive.
My own little ninja in her purple set is still level 9. I havent even tried to get my level 20 postmaster her running shoes or finished going from 19-20 on cook yet.
Actually there was a lot of people in seaside yesterday. It seemed like a beach party with everyone enjoying the summer. Sparklers and beachwear and little pets. I got invited to two guilds (I’m guildless) while dancing along with everyone.
Once persons dog was running up and down the beach. Very cute. My own cat gets mostly carried everywhere. I only sometimes put her down to play and get into trouble.

Ether Saga adds some new daily quests. Its also released a new dungeon a short while ago.
Luna Online releases some new costumes. They look very nice.
Perfect world has some new mounts out for a short time
Rohan has a new crafting system. I just wish they were clearer about where to go next with their quests.
Grizzleheim is on its way to wizard 101 and is on the test realms.
Atlantica Online “June Weekend Jamboree” is still on.
